EQUSANA ENERGY PLUS

Energy Plus is a concentrated energy source in powder form. The product consists of easily digestible fatty acids with added lecithin and vitamin E. Lecithin is a fatty acid that increases digestibility of fat in the horse’s overall feed rations and is included as a building block in the body’s cells, and also boosts the ability to absorb vitamins A and E. Energy Plus has an Omega -3/-Omega -6 composition close to that found in the fatty tissue of the horse.

- Sport horses that need more energy
- Thin horses young or old
- Broodmares and stallions
- Horses that do not tolerate starch and sugar

Rationing guidelines:
Sport horses, thin horses, broodmares and stallions: 30-70 g/100 kg horse, 165- 385 g/day for 550 kg horse. Old horses: 20-40 g/100 kg, 110-220 g/day for 550 kg horse.
Horses with reduced insulin sensitivity/metabolic complications. Carbohydrate replacement, as needed
